Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jeremiah moved to Northwest Indiana upon graduating from Indiana University School of Law.  He has proudly resided in Lake County since 2002.

Prior to managing his own law firm in Munster, Indiana, Jeremiah began his legal career as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Lake County Prosecutor's Office.  As a Deputy Prosecutor, he gained valuable courtroom and trial experience handling all levels of major felony and misdemeanor cases.

Today, the Law Office of Jeremiah T. Sheets serves individual clients and businesses in both criminal and civil litigation throughout the state of Indiana.

In addition to maintaining his own legal practice, Jeremiah has previously served as a pro tem judge for the small claims and roving courts of Lake County Superior Court and as an Adjunct Instructor in Criminal Justice at Westwood College in Chicago, Illinois.
